Mission
Homespun exists to:

This school will function within the body of Christ in accordance with the standards of the Bible to educate, empower, and guide students and their parents in education.

It will provide an education based on the unique needs, gifts, and abilities of each student.

The school recognizes that the ultimate authority to train and educate the children rests with their parents.
Turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers  (Malachi 4:6)

Disciple children so that the next generation will set its heart anew on God (Psalm 78)

Let the children come to Him and encounter our supernatural God (Mark 10:14)

Extend God’s kingdom (Matthew 28:19-20)

Equip His children (2 Timothy 2:15)


School Goals

To partner with the parent to learn, explore, and wonder as their children are taught the tools of learning.

  1. The parents and teachers will discern and develop each child’s gifts and unique personalities for the glory of God.

  2. The parents and teachers will teach each child how to access, acquire, and evaluate knowledge within the moral framework of God’s word, the Bible.

  3. The parents and teachers will tailor instruction at an individualized pace based on the needs and learning styles of the child.

  4. Education will be enjoyable, practical, and relevant to the child’s world.
